My work begins with looking. Sometimes through the camera, sometimes through paint, and often somewhere in between. I’m interested in the world around me — not only as it appears, but also as it feels when a certain light, silence, place, or emotion stays longer than expected.

Photography became my way of wandering through familiar landscapes. Most of my images are created locally, while traveling around Lithuania and searching for moments that feel quiet, atmospheric, or strangely meaningful. Not all of them become photographs, but the ones that do remain here as frozen fragments of time.

Painting gives me another way to continue that same search. It allows me to move beyond what is directly visible and explore more symbolic, surreal, or emotional versions of the world. Some paintings grow from places, some from memories, and some from ideas that are difficult to express in words. Together with photography, they form my personal way of exploring and sharing the world around me.
