Welcome to my journey into landscape photography

Every now and then I stop by and capture the moment that feels special. I'm not sure what makes those moments pop, but probably it reflects the way I see the world. Sometimes I wonder why it takes to look through a little viewfinder to see incredible sceneries in front of us, but I believe that’s what photography is all about. Seeing things through own individual perspective and sharing that vision with the world.

The isle

I was anticipating this shot for almost a year. Inspired by some misty photographs, I saw this image in my mind and was waiting for the right conditions to come. So when the weather forecast predicted the fog in the following morning, I knew I have to be there to take that shot. Sometimes patience pays back.

Woodland melody

There's so many of everything in the woodland, and yet everything has its own place and its meaning, and its own sound as well. Woodland has plenty of sounds on its own, but flowing water just added extra to that music. Being in the place I wondered if I could take the picture that sounds. Well, I still remember, and I hear it. I wonder if you hear it too?

Life story

I like bare trees in winter. After dropping all the leaves, they stand there quietly, revealing their entire life story for you to read. All the hardships and misfortunes, disasters and diseases, leave the marks on their monumental structure, but it never restrains their will to build a new life once the spring knocks on the door.

Sunset flowers

Seemingly tired sunflowers stared at me with their huge heads as if would be asking "...again? Seriously?..." I visited this field of sunflowers for the second day in a row, only this time conditions were completely different. The sky was burning, and the field was still full of blooms. I couldn't miss this combination. I guess one of them would be enough for a nice photo, and I've got both. Sometimes you get lucky.

Dreams

Isn’t that what we usually do while wandering alone at the seaside? Dreaming? For a long time, I wanted to capture this state of mind somehow, but nothing seemed to work. Now, to me, this image is probably the closest to how I envision it.
