I was anticipating this shot for almost a year. Inspired by some misty photographs, I saw this image in my mind and was waiting for the right conditions to come. So when the weather forecast predicted the fog in the following morning, I knew I have to be there to take that shot. Sometimes patience pays back.
I loved everything about that misty morning. The mood, the colors, the fog. The contrast between warm skies and cold river waters. That peaceful awakening. So glad to witness it.

I like bare trees in winter. After dropping all the leaves, they stand there quietly, revealing their entire life story for you to read. All the hardships and misfortunes, disasters and diseases, leave the marks on their monumental structure, but it never restrains their will to build a new life once the spring knocks on the door. Year after year, they fill new chapters about their determination to live, and it seems their stories will never end.

Over the river

Every little moment of our lives is just a tiny piece of the chain that carries on from the distant past and into the mysterious future. We might not know where that road will turn again, but looking back we can certainly guess the direction. The times like these are scary and precious at the same time because they offer the luxury to stop and see where we've got ourselves to. And the chance to adjust our direction. I'm not sure if we will come out of this better. But I hope we will get stronger, a bit more mindful and... human.

Parallel worlds

I love reflection photos. For me, it's one of the most beautiful genres of landscape photography. They seem to reveal a new parallel world before our eyes and start to raise some weird questions like where I am in it? They seem to have no end. And no beginning as well.

There's quite a lot of reflections in nature, and even if it seems to be quite an easy shot, I find it very challenging to capture a reflection that would actually reflect more than the image of the subject on the surface of the water. Maybe, because not all of them reflect the world we wanna be in. Or maybe, sometimes, it's just the opposite.

Dreams

Isn’t that what we usually do while wandering alone at the seaside? Dreaming? For a long time, I wanted to capture this state of mind somehow, but nothing seemed to work. Now, to me, this image is probably the closest to how I envision it.

Bound for life

Nice group of trees destined to grow and spend their life together. Without a choice to leave, but with a desire to live.

Woodland has plenty of sounds on its own, but flowing water just added extra to that music. Being in the place I was wondering if I could take the picture that sounds. Well, I still remember, and I hear it. I wonder if you hear it too?

Who said we are the only ones who want to see ourselves reflected? Nature has plenty of mirrors to take care of its looks. Must be important for the trees to check their autumn's outfits. Or for the clouds to see if they are still fit. Even for the sun to test its evening colors. And then for us to capture it all. Only the wind sometimes dares to make things complicated. Must be jealous, as it's the only one that can't see itself reflected.

Sunset flowers

The same field. The same sunflowers. Even the same sun. But a completely different story. Seemingly tired sunflowers stared at me with their huge heads as if would be asking "...again? Seriously?..." Well, I couldn't miss this combination. This burning sky looked incredible, and the field was still full of blooms. I guess one of them would be enough for a nice photo, and I've got both. Sometimes you get lucky.
